1. TERMS OF SERVICE
Fairport exim follows open-trade policy and anybody can purchase from Fairport exim globally.
By proceeding to check-out and placing order with us, any individual/companies agrees to the terms and condition of Fairport exim.
The following terms and conditions shall govern the sale by Fairport exim and the buyer. By placing orders with Fairportexim.com, it is deemed that you have read, understood and agreed to our Terms & Conditions. If you find any subject in the Terms & Conditions not acceptable, please contact Fairport exim before placing your order.
2. PAYMENT
We accept most major credit cards; MasterCard, Visa, American express and Discover. The payment will be deducted from your account when you place the order.
Merbaa encrypts all your card information using the so-called SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This means that no unauthorised persons will be able to view your card number or other information during the transaction with Nets. The total cost of your items purchased plus shipping fees as displayed on the web will be billed to your credit card. In order to keep a high level of security for our customers, we may request further correspondence from the purchaser in the event that we suspect a fraudulent order.
3. DELIVERY
All orders are shipped with DHL, Fedex and UPS. When your order leaves our warehouse you will receive a tracking number via e-mail in order for you to track your order on http://www.dhl.com or http://www.fedex.com or http://www.ups.com. All delivery times are estimated depending on the carrier.
4. COLOUR OF PRODUCTS & MATERIALS
The colours of products seen on fairportexim.com will depend on the monitor from which it is viewed and can vary depending on the monitor. Therefore the colour seen on the monitor can vary from the accurate colour of the product. Please note that we have tried as accurately as possible to display the colours of the textile, lining, leather etc. as well as the tactility of all materials used.
Please note that all Fairport exim products are made of the highest quality materials. We would like to point out that vegetable tanning of leather is a natural product and each handicraft article can vary in colour and structure from product to product and from collection to collection.
These minor variations in products should be viewed as a unique characteristic and not as a fault. Please be aware that natural and coated fabrics used in dark or very strong colours may be subject to transference of colour through rubbing, and the use of these products should be used with caution when in contact with light colours. Most of the articles have been given a water repellent surface, but are not water resistant. Note that all Handicrafts are sensitive to rain and other wet spots.
5. SIZES
All sizes on any product viewed on fairportexim.com are external sizes measured in inches or cm except for bangles which are measured internally. All the products are handcrafted that’s why a little size variation can occur.
6. CLAIM OF GOODS
If for any reason you wish to raise a claim on a purchased item,
Then first you have to send the detail with images of the defected product.
If there is any kind of manufacturing defect or any other human error found then in this case, your refund will be applicable and the same will be credited to your account within next 10 days.
In other situation, we will examine your claim, and determine if it is due to: Natural Wear and Tear, Improper Use, Third-Party Interference, Natural Disasters, or damage unrelated to production or quality, in which case we will not fix.

Fairport exim takes your privacy very seriously. We follow industry standard protection procedures to ensure your personal information is secure. Your credit card information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) -and stored with an AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional industry approved security precautions.
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

8. IMPORT DUTY & TAXES
All the goods you ordered from our site for delivery, they may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order. Please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the Goods are destined. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.
Please be advised that we reserve the right to deduct, from any refund due to the customer, the costs incurred by us for the return shipment of Goods refused by the customer at Customs in the destination country.
